It’s Time to Experience CLCA Firsthand

I want to share some thoughts on how being an active member in the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) has truly benefited our company, and how getting more involved can benefit yours. There’s a saying, “You only get out of something what you put into it,” and we’ve certainly found that to be true by actively volunteering within the association.

While CLCA boasts hundreds of members across the state, only a dedicated few actively volunteer their time. These are the individuals who provide the vital energy that keeps the organization thriving. Our company joined CLCA in November 2013, and four years later, we made the conscious decision to become active participants.

We are involved in four different chapters as well as at the State level. The key word is involved, not simply a member on paper, but serving as board members at all levels. That’s the kind of involvement you need to have if you want to enjoy the many benefits CLCA membership provides.

I often think of CLCA as being like a classroom with a mix of experience levels. Newer members are constantly learning and growing, while more seasoned members deepen their understanding by sharing their knowledge and assisting others. Everyone is there because of a shared passion for the industry, and a desire to succeed.

Particularly in times of uncertainty, the strength of our relationship with CLCA has become even more apparent. Over the past year, we’ve been able to rely on the organization for guidance and support when we’ve needed it most. I am sincerely grateful for the referrals and assistance we’ve received from our fellow members. We are excited to continue learning and developing, both personally and professionally, through our involvement with CLCA.

It's my firm belief that everyone in our industry could gain valuable benefits from actively participating in CLCA. I encourage you to consider taking the step and experiencing the positive impact firsthand. IT’S TIME TO GET INVOLVED!
