Fish On!

Our annual fishing trip is quickly approaching, and spots are filling up fast. Join us for a full day of fishing on Friday, September 5 in the beautiful waters surrounding the Channel Islands, and take the opportunity to network with fellow green industry professionals. We'll be departing at 6 a.m. and returning to shore around 4 p.m.

The fee for anglers is only $125 which is way below the going rate for a day’s fishing around Channel Islands. You can thank our generous Fishing Sponsors for that. Make sure to thank them personally when making your next purchase of the products and services they offer.

I want to congratulate the San Fernando Valley Chapter for their excellent Beautification Awards Program that was capped with a well-attended Awards Dinner on June 21. Several of our CI members were in attendance, including the folks from CI member Mariposa Landscapes, one of the evening’s Special Award winners. Mariposa is featured on the cover of our newsletter this month.

There are other activities planned for the CI Chapter this year, as well as those we share with our neighboring chapters, San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles/San Gabriel Valley. So, stay tuned and get involved.
